Week 2, Friday
322 days until Ironman Arizona.
Today was long and fun, but I forgot the Garmin, so I don’t have detailed time/distance/hr data.
- Bike: 20 minute warm-up ride to gym.
- Weight training. (I log all my sets and reps in a notebook, but I feel like it’s a bit much to post them here.)
- Swim 45 minutes. Mostly 100- and 50-yard bilateral breathing and balance drills on 2:30 or so—I’m pleased with my progress towards a smooth roll on my ‘off’ side.
- Run 45 minutes, easy. It’s funny running without the Garmin, as I’m completely lost on how hard I’m pushing until it’s obvious that I’m going too hard because I’m breathing hard.
- Bike: 20 minute cool-down ride home.
